Construction Litigation Win

Managed discovery process, selected relevant contemporaneous documentation that was applied to delay causation analysis, and developed MS Access database that was used in a two-day preparation blitz for mediation that won an $80 million engineer-procure-construct (EPC) delay causation claim in 2003.  The project was a cogeneration plant in Orange, Texas, and involved an oil and gas company against a Fortune 500 engineering firm.  Analyzed schedule to determine delay causation using critical path method (CPM) and analyzed project management in the context of the Project Management Institute’s Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK).
